What I enjoy most about shooting events is shooting the details (as if you didn't already know that). It's the details that get the most attention in the time leading up to the event and probably the least attention during. For instance, when we got married, we manually embossed a letter 'g' on all the napkins for the reception. I made sure to get a shot of that because it took us quite a bit of time and they were just going to be thrown out after wiping somebody's mouth. Also, decorations generally don't move and aren't cranky about getting their picture taken.
